Our Partners
In addition to our regular distribution of food to local families, the Emergency Food Network has Special Project Partnerships with over fifteen local nonprofits that serve clients who are food insecure. We help these organizations in various ways, meeting their needs so that they can better focus on their core missions unrelated to food. For some, we provide grocery gift cards, for others we provide food in bulk or meal support. Whatever it takes, EFN is there to help alleviate food insecurity for the people served by these organizations:
AIM (Alliance for Interfaith Ministries)
Bright Stars Preschool Program, Albemarle County
Church of the Incarnation Food Ministry
CRHA and PHAR: Sixth Street Community
Piedmont Housing Alliance: Kindlewood (formerly Friendship Court) and Scottsville School Apartments
Shelter for Help in Emergency (SHE)
We are also grateful to receive food and supplies from local organizations such as the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, Panera Bread, and the Charlottesville Band, which help us provide healthy food for our clients.
